This Privacy Policy explains how DropPocket, a macOS app operated by Tingqiang Tuo, handles information when you use the app. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

Information We Collect

DropPocket does not require an account. The app is designed to work with files on your Mac.

We may collect or process the following information:

• Files you add to DropPocket are processed locally on your Mac. DropPocket does not upload your file contents to our servers. If you use macOS sharing features, the destination service you choose may handle those files under its own terms and privacy policy.
• App settings, such as language and interface preferences, are stored locally on your device.
• The Pro trial start date is stored in Keychain and may be synced through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage so the trial state can stay consistent across your devices.
• DropPocket creates an anonymous app user ID and stores it in Keychain. This ID is used with Firebase Analytics and RevenueCat to support analytics and purchase status.
• Purchase information, such as product ID, purchase status, restore status, and related transaction data, may be processed by Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat.
• Analytics information may be collected through Google Analytics for Firebase, including app opens, sessions, app updates, in-app purchases, device model, operating system, general region, and app-instance identifiers.

We do not collect payment card numbers. App Store payments are handled by Apple.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and maintain app features;
• verify Pro purchase status and restore purchases;
• understand app usage and improve DropPocket;
• diagnose technical problems reported by users;
• respond to support requests;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use collected data for third-party advertising. We do not use collected data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising.

Third-Party Services

DropPocket uses third-party services that process information under their own privacy policies:

• Apple
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• RevenueCat

We may share information with these service providers only as needed to operate DropPocket, process purchases, provide analytics, or comply with the law.

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Third-party services may retain data according to their own policies.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by DropPocket. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes
